This expansion is part of the ERA TALENT project with the objective to support the career development of researchers in Europe, opening up new career paths in academia, industry, business, the public, and non-governmental sectors. The project paves the way for integrating EURAXESS in the ERA Talent Platform of the European Commission, the forthcoming web portal of the European Commission comprehensively supporting researchers in their career development within the European Research Area, connecting researchers and institutions, and improving employability, talent absorption and mobility schemes.
The ERA Talent cascading grants scheme, a vital component of this project, has significantly contributed to this expansion. It aims to position the EURAXESS Startup Hub as a leading network supporting scientific startup entrepreneurship among researchers at all career stages. The scheme emphasizes short-term impactful activities that produce various outputs, such as webinars, online courses, pitch competitions, mentoring schemes, and more.
Joining the Hub offers an exceptional opportunity to diversify researchers' careers, increasing their future job prospects, fostering collaboration across sectors, and bringing science closer to society. By enhancing the network and sharing best practices, our new members will help deploy innovative tools and high-quality services that further the career development opportunities for researchers.
Welcome to our new members! We look forward to the valuable contributions and the exciting advancements you will bring to the Startup Hub.
