Goran S. Milovanović, a Lead Data Scientist, Research Scientist, and Manager with a Ph.D. in Psychology, has a strong foundation in Decision Theory, Categorisation, Semantics, and Causality. He leads AI and ML projects at Smartocto, focusing on predictive analytics and recommendation systems in digital media, and oversees the LABS team. He also founded and manages DataKolektiv, a consultancy that has provided comprehensive Data Science services for Wikidata and now offers consultancy and educational programs to various clients. His academic contributions include co-editing and co-authoring five books, numerous journal papers, and conference proceedings. With over two decades of experience in mathematical modelling and education in methodology, statistics, psychology, and Data Science, Milovanović is recognized as an industry leader, keynote speaker, and the founder and president of MACHINERY, a Serbian association of AI/ML experts.

With an educational background in Computer Science, Mladen has spent over 20 years building startups in the SaaS, Cloud, and AI sectors, some of which have resulted in successful, high-value acquisitions. He recently joined Microsoft to work on one of today's hottest products - Microsoft Copilot. Mladen is interested in topics of societal and human transformation driven by technological progress.

Milan is associate professor and leading researcher (R4) in applied AI, currently working at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš. He is a vocal AI advocate, a member of many scientific advisory bodies, a lead researcher in innovative AI projects in forecasting heat demand, uncovering the effect of social media sentiment on market dynamics, medical images disease detection and others. In last 5 years, Milan took a leading role in establishment of the EURAXESS Startup Hub, the most recent and already proven successful multi-country effort to strengthen the potential for developing the scientific entrepreneurship careers, targeted at academic researchers.
